Objectives:

A. In Short Term
Holding conferences, workshops, lectures by national and international artists and professionals
Establishing the contemporary arts gallery in various parts of the country.
Exhibitions of Afghan artists’ works in national and international level.
Paving the ground for Afghan artists to travel abroad as well as invite foreign artists to visit Afghanistan;
Establishing a contemporary arts library equipped with multimedia devises;
Rehabilitating the mobile cinema aimed at introducing the modern arts in Afghanistan and supporting the sustainability of arts.
Providing similar opportunities for men and women to get benefit of the possibilities of the center as well as improve their artistic talents and skills;
Establishing the Contemporary arts academy aimed at official education of learners in BFA and MFA Degree.

B. In long-term
Improving the artistic interest and knowledge of the artists and art lovers regarding arts, and particularly contemporary arts.
Improving the creation and acceptance standards of arts in the country;
Establishing and strengthening the new arts atmosphere to seek new artistic expression style.
Strengthening and broadening the center’s artistic and cultural relations with national and international institutions and using these relations for improving the country’s contemporary arts in Afghanistan.
Endeavoring towards peace, justice, democracy, civil society and supporting the sustainability and institutionalization of these beliefs in the light of Islamic and national values.
Improving and increasing the number and quality of artists in Afghanistan and having active cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Information and Culture, Ministry of Higher Education and other institutions in the attainment of these goals
