Workshops

Holding workshops and conferences by national and international known artists form a considerable part of the activities of the CCAA.
The objective of these workshops and conferences is to upgrade the interest and practical and theoretical knowledge of the artists in various arts aspects. The CCAA through conduct of these workshops strives to strengthen the work out of new artistic ways and ideas, and encourage the artists for free arts initiatives and creations and this way increase the number and quality of independent artists in Afghanistan.

So far, workshops in the areas of conceptual arts, conceptual designs, conceptual architecture, contemporary arts, video arts and installation have been held by this center. These workshops are mainly conducted in the Faculty of Fine Arts, Faculty of Engineering of Kabul University, the artistic center of the Ministry of Information and Culture and for artists and arts students of the CCAA.

Frederic Levrat, Professor of Architecture (live between New York and Kabul)

Luis Rafhel, USA – Individual Artist
